Carlos David is INDIGO’s lead vocalist and composer. While his extensive musical experience is known to some, it is his deep raspy voice that commands attention. David, a native of Puerto Rico, has been a background vocalist for internationally renowned entertainer Ricky Martin since 1998 and has accompanied him on several North American and world tours. A resident of Las Vegas since 2001, David has worked with well known artists such as Carlos Santana, Martin Nievera, Patti Austin, and Alejandro Sanz among many others. He has also headlined his own entertainment show at the Fiesta Hotel and Casino. David’s hunger for performing has led him to a place where music has taken on a new beginning.
A.B. Bermudez is INDIGO’s drummer, percussionist, producer and musical director. A native of Venezuela, Bermudez has traveled the world accompanying Latin music’s most well known artists. Among them are Celia Cruz, Tito Nieves, Tony Vega, Sheila E., and Don Omar. Bermudez has not only recorded tracks for many artists, but has also produced albums for Joshua Johnson of Los Angeles, Longpoint, and Liquid Circle. Bermudez is endorsed by Pearl Drums & Percussion, Vater Drumsticks, Meinl Cymbals, Remo Drumheads, Factory Metal Percussion, Rhythm Tech Percussion, and Hansenfutz. He has also been featured in Modern Drummer and Latin Beat Magazine. The founding of INDIGO along, with his sincere passion for music and performing, has spawned a new chapter for Bermudez’s music.
Within a short time, INDIGO has generated a great deal of attention among record labels. David and Bermudez are currently working on material for their still untitled debut CD. INDIGO also includes: Johnny Rivera on guitar and background vocals, Rigo Flores on bass, and additional vocals by Lilly Arce. INDIGO can be heard Saturday nights at Las Vegas’ top contemporary Mexican restaurant and tequila bar, Agave Comida y Tequila.
